They are seeking a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Consultant to conduct revenue cycle assessments, provide interim management, and build client relationships while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.ResponsibilitiesConducting onsite and remote revenue cycle assessments for healthcare providers (primarily hospitals), including evaluating patient access, mid-cycle, and back-end functions; identifying improvement opportunities and recommending solutionsProviding interim revenue cycle management for clients, including implementing recommendations from assessments and leading day-to-day operations across revenue cycle, revenue integrity, and business office functionsServing as a trusted advisor to clients by addressing day-to-day operational and business questionsBuilding and managing client relationships by assessing needs, evaluating solution options, and delivering value-driven servicesEvaluating revenue cycle compliance with applicable healthcare rules and regulationsResearching and staying current on healthcare revenue cycle regulations and industry trendsSupporting business development efforts through marketing, cross-selling, presentations, and industry conference participationDeveloping and enhancing healthcare consulting service offerings based on identified client needsProviding internal educational sessions to healthcare staff to increase awareness of healthcare issues and service offeringsLeading, training, and mentoring Associate and Senior Associate staff; delegating work as appropriateManaging client billings and supporting practice development initiativesParticipating in healthcare-related professional and community organizationsWriting articles on issues impacting healthcare providersSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field, or related equivalent years of experience7+ years of experience in the healthcare industry - specifically revenue cycle, revenue integrity, coding, and/or chargemaster experienceAdvanced knowledge of terminology, policies and practices, and financial programs of healthcare systemsWell-rounded knowledge of CMS, and other state and federal regulatory guidance related to the healthcare industry with a strong understanding of inpatient, outpatient and professional billing and payer requirementsKnowledge of various healthcare software packages and electronic health record systems (i.e., EPIC, Cerner, MediTech, etc.)Strong relationship-building and networking skillsAbility to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writingStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlinesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clientsProficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packagesAbility to travel approximately 30%, with flexibility to increase or decrease based on client needs and conference timingMust be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorshipCertification in billing, coding or other revenue cycle areasBenefitsGenerous paid time offComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) profit sharingLife and disability insuranceLifestyle spending accountCertification incentivesEducation assistanceReferral programCompany OverviewEide Bailly helps businesses work smarter — financially, operationally, and strategically.
