They are seeking a Business Development Representative to create and execute a strategic plan to generate demand for their platform and solutions, while also collaborating closely with the sales team to refine lead generation strategies.ResponsibilitiesCreating and executing a strategic plan to generate demand for our platform and solutions within a defined territoryActing as a thought leader in your market, representing us at events and establishing a credible profile to attract high-value partners and grow market shareGenerating prospects and qualifying leads to translate efforts into revenue opportunities for the Account Executive teamWorking closely with the sales team to develop and refine lead generation strategiesCollaborating with Account Executives to ensure excellent call quality and the successful handover of opportunitiesMaking outbound calls to prospective accountants, bookkeepers, and subsidiaries to generate qualified opportunitiesUsing a variety of channels including phone, email, and social media to reach prospects and identify key decision-makersMaintaining accurate records of all prospecting activities and tracking progress within the CRMSkillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to form trusting relationships with stakeholdersStrong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrategically minded, capable of anticipating stakeholder needs and problem-solving for solutionsAbility to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and softwareExperience in generating business leads through multiple channelsDetail-oriented with strong organisational skillsCompany OverviewXero is an online accounting software for small businesses that automating invoicing, bank reconciliations, and reporting.
