Business Development Representative

Automat-it is an AWS Premier Partner and Managed Services Provider specializing in the startup ecosystem, seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative. This role focuses on identifying and generating Greenfield leads from startups in the cloud ecosystem, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and aligning strategies with sales and marketing teams.ResponsibilitiesProactively identify, research, and qualify potential startup leads within the cloud ecosystem using tools such as LinkedIn, Salesforce, and industry-specific databasesAttend local AWS and customer events to network, generate leads, and represent Automat-it within the cloud ecosystemContact prospects via email, phone, and social media to generate interest in Automat-it’s solutionsMaintain a robust and organized sales pipeline in Salesforce, tracking all interactions and ensuring follow-upsOwn the initial stages of the sales cycle until handover to the Account ExecutiveWork closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leadsStay updated on cloud ecosystem trends, industry developments, and startup activity to refine outreach strategiesCommit to regular business travel, locally and internationallySkills1+ years in a similar BDR/SDR or sales role, preferably in the B2B tech or cloud ecosystemProven Outbound experience - cold-calling, LinkedIn, email, social media, etcProven experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executivesExcellent organizational and presentation skillsProven ability to meet or exceed lead generation targets in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishEnthusiastic about learning and adapting to new tools, trends, and marketsFamiliarity with AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Amazon Quick Suite, etcWorking experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, or Zoominfo - an advantageExperience working in startups and knowledge of the local startup ecosystem - an advantageFamiliarity with cloud services - an advantageBenefitsProfessional training and certifications covered by the company (AWS, FinOps, Kubernetes, etc.)International work environmentReferral program – enjoy cooperation with your colleagues and get a bonus.Company events and social gatherings (happy hours, team events, knowledge sharing, etc.)English classesCountry-specific benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.Company OverviewAutomat-IT is a software consultancy that enables organizations accelerate innovation through the adoption of cloud-native computing.
