Bilingual Virtual SLP in IL
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services with bilingual capabilities. This role supports students through virtual speech therapy sessions, enhancing communication skills in both English and an additional language.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Deliver telespeech therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students.
ā¢ Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
ā¢ Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication development.
ā¢ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
ā¢ Utilize bilingual skills to effectively communicate with students and families from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or certification.
ā¢ Experience providing telespeech therapy services within educational settings.
ā¢ Bilingual proficiency, with the ability to provide services in English and another language fluently.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders.
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to virtual platforms.
