As a Mobile Automation Quality Assurance Engineer at Namecheap, you will collaboratively review and validate the development work to ensure quality and that the requirements are met, ensuring our millions of users experience our products in a fluid and seamless way. What will you do:Develop automation tests for new Mobile features and backend endpointsMaintenance of automation tests affected by new developmentsMonitor failing tests, conduct a thorough analysis, and log defects as necessary.Communicate with the development team to align best practices to support automation testsIdentify risks and areas that cannot be automatedActively contribute to the QA team's growth by sharing insights, fostering continuous improvement in automation processes, and test cases and supporting skill development.Elaborate and present status of test Coverage and strategies for the next monthsWhat will you bring:5+ years experience in software testingExperience in automation tests for Mobile native apps Android/iOSExperience using any Selenium-based automation toolsExperience with mobile automation using AppiumExperience with JavaScript/ Typescript languageExperience in automating tests for Backend REST APIs Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)Strong familiarity with Git for version control, including branching, pull requests, and merging.Ability to think critically and independently to solve testing-related issues and contribute to improving automation strategies.Will be a plus:Experience with AWS Clouds SolutionExperience with Relational DatabaseExperience with application monitoring/logging tools (Kibana, Grafana, New Relic)What’s in it for you: ‍ Embrace work-life balance with hybrid/remote roles and flexible hours.
