Develop and maintain strong knowledge of UnitedHealth Group's contract management policies and procedures Lead the negotiation and execution of complex contracts with external vendors and partners Oversee the review and analysis of contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and business development, to facilitate contract negotiations and ensure alignment with company goals Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to team members on contract management best practices and processes Monitor contract performance and proactively identify and address any issues or discrepancies Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure successful contract management and execution Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline contract management processes and increase efficiency Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to contract management and make recommendations for adjustments to policies and procedures as needed Mentor and coach team members to support their professional development and growth within the company.
