Job Description
Albemarle is hiring for an Assistant Operator. This position is onsite and located in Silver Peak, NV.
## What You Will Do
* Support Plant Operator in the collection of samples.
* Support Plant Operator in the daily operation of transfer pumps.
* Support Plant Operator in the collection of monthly information.
* Fill in for the Plant Operator as needed.
* Communicate daily activities and information to the Plant Operator.
* Communicate information weekly about shift activities.
* Assist supervisor with other duties that he/she needs to accomplish department goals.
* Assist other departments as needed to accomplish company goals.
* Work safely, efficiently, cleanly, and self consciously to keep department safety goals.
* This is a shift work position with rotating 12 hour schedules.
## What You Bring
* Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Employee must demonstrate the ability to safely follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
* Employee must demonstrate the basic understanding of computer operation.
* Employee must meet physical demands.
* Employee must safely and effectively work from heights.
