Applied AI Engineer (GenAI & Vision)
Location: New York (Fully Remote)

We are hiring an Applied AI Engineer to work on production-grade GenAI and computer vision systems focused on large-scale unstructured data processing. This is a fast-moving contract opportunity with immediate interview availability.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, and deploy GenAI solutions using LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-based architectures
ā¢ Build and improve computer vision and document intelligence pipelines for PDFs, images, and scanned documents
ā¢ Implement scalable data ingestion and content extraction workflows
ā¢ Deploy and manage machine learning models using AWS services including Lambda, ECS, Airflow, and S3
ā¢ Collaborate with engineering and product teams to solve complex AI problems
ā¢ Evaluate emerging AI technologies and integrate them into production systems
Requirements
ā¢ Proven experience in AI / machine learning with exposure to vision models
ā¢ Strong proficiency in Python
ā¢ Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks such as OpenAI, Gemini, LangChain, or similar
ā¢ Experience deploying ML models in cloud-based production environments
ā¢ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
Nice to Have
ā¢ Experience working with unstructured data and document processing
ā¢ End-to-end ownership of models from experimentation to production
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
