The Portfolio Management Analyst will support the Daily Valuation Engine and work with investment teams to evaluate investments, manage data feeds, and develop models for portfolio management.ResponsibilitiesBuilding and managing complex excel models using VBA for portfolio management functionsUnderstanding and exploring concepts of risk, return and liquidity to better manage portfoliosModel building and analysis using built-in functions and models developed from scratch in Python/RData retrieval and wrangling using MySQL and Python/R. Knowledge of PowerBI a plusCommunicating the output of models internally, including assumptions and limitationsDiscussing internally the merits of the models and analysesIndependent and efficient working style: ability to develop big picture ideas and translate them into code and actionable model outputCreating presentations for internal and external stakeholders articulating portfolio plans and investment decisionsSkillsBachelors, Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Econometrics, or a related fieldExcellent written communication and presentation skillsExperience in a financial environment.
