Actuarial Analyst - Rotational Program (Hybrid)

Securian Financial is offering a unique opportunity for entry-level professionals to launch their actuarial careers through a comprehensive rotational program. This role involves working across various actuarial functions, providing hands-on experience and personalized coaching while contributing to business success. Responsibilities Participate in rotational assignments across different actuarial functions. This may include placements in product development, valuation, risk management, modeling, or other actuarial opportunities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop models, and provide insights that support business decisions Engage in hands-on projects that drive business outcomes and contribute to the company's strategic goals Participate in mentorship and coaching from experienced actuaries and leaders within the organization Develop and enhance technical skills, including proficiency in actuarial software and tools Prepare and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, honing your communication and presentation skills Work towards becoming an Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries by completing actuarial exams Skills Successful track record in a four-year degree program, preferably in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively Excellent communication abilities, including listening, business writing, and presentation skills Strong organizational skills to balance multiple priorities and accountabilities Preferably completed a minimum of two actuarial exams Benefits Paid Time Off Leave programs: Securian’s flexible leave programs allow time off from work for parental leave, caregiver leave for family members, bereavement and military leave.
