YouTube Writer - Freelance

Are you a great writer who knows how to tell a story? Are you knowledgeable and passionate about Judaism, the Jewish people, and Israel? Are you excited to tell the 4000 year story of the Jewish people? You might just be our next scriptwriter. We’re looking for a gifted writer who can distill complex historical events into a fast-paced, engaging narrative. Someone who knows how to grab the audience’s attention and get them to care about the historical figures who shaped the Jewish story. Someone who isn’t afraid to tackle tough questions with humor and empathy. This role is currently freelance, but we’re willing to create a full-time role for the right person. What You’ll Do: • Write YouTube scripts that reflect the voice and tone of the channel. • Independently research topics using high-quality historical sources. • Work with the host to ensure the script is authentic to his/her voice. • Collaborate, brainstorm, and edit with other members of the film team. Requirements Who You Are: • Professional fluency in English. • Knowledgeable about Judaism and Jewish history. • A great writer who can tell an engaging story. • Able to meet deadlines and thrive in fast-paced environments. • Very communicative. • Excited to improve your skills and edit your work based on feedback.
