Key Responsibilities
Ā Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings into verbatim transcripts.
Ā Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while adhering to client-specific style guides.
Ā Maintain high standards of literacy and grammatical accuracy in all transcripts.
Ā Collaborate with our dedicated in-office team as required to resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills
Ā Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential.
Ā Exceptional listening skills and the ability to discern and capture spoken content accurately.
Ā Strong literacy skills encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar proficiency.
Ā Proficient typing abilities characterized by speed and accuracy.
Ā Familiarity with legal terminology is a must.
Ā Capability to process sensitive audio/text content (may be challenging).
Ā Must successfully pass a background check.
Ā Court reporting students are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Ā Significant experience transcribing legal documents, depositions, or hearings.
