WooCommerce Developer Needed to Implement Conversion-Focused Site Restructure (No Redesign)

We are looking for an experienced WooCommerce developer to help restructure an existing live ecommerce site for clarity, hierarchy, and conversion. This is not a redesign project. This is an implementation project. We already have a clear strategy, navigation map, product hierarchy, and rules. Your role is to execute precisely, using placeholders where final assets are not yet available. Scope of Work Rebuild top navigation and dropdown structure Rename and reorganize product collections Create / modify page templates (Homepage, “Start Here”, Collections) Implement changes using placeholder images and draft copy Ensure clean WooCommerce logic (cart flow, product grouping, upsells) Prepare site so final photography and video assets can be swapped in later without restructuring What This Project Is NOT Not a brand redesign Not a visual exploration Not an open-ended UX experiment Not a “bring your own vision” role Exact structure, hierarchy, and rules will be provided. Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 5+ years experience with WooCommerce Proven experience working on conversion-focused ecommerce sites Comfortable building with placeholder assets Able to follow detailed written direction exactly Clear communicator (plain English, no jargon) Willing to work on a staging environment Available for short weekly check-ins with deliverables Ideal Candidate You are: Methodical Organized Comfortable executing a defined plan Not precious about design Used to founder-led direction If you enjoy clarity and clean execution, this project will be a great fit. Test Task (Paid) Final candidates will be asked to complete a small paid test task, such as: Implementing a draft navigation structure Building one placeholder “Start Here” page This is to ensure fit before moving into the full scope.
