Wix Website Rebuild for Family Organization (Content Migration) We are looking for an experienced Wix (or Wix Studio) developer based in Africa to completely rebuild and modernize a family‑history website for the Taggart Family Organization. Project overview Rebuild the entire site in Wix/Wix Studio or WordPress. Use the existing site (taggartfamily.org) as the source for content, plus other URLS and provided photos, logo, and articles. Create a fresh, clean design that honors a multi‑generation family and their pioneer ancestor Make it easy for non‑technical family members to update pages, add documents, and post news Key tasks Plan a new site structure and navigation for many pages, stories, and PDFs Migrate and organize existing content (text, images, documents, some video embeds) Design a responsive, mobile‑friendly layout Set up basic SEO (titles, descriptions, clear URLs, internal links) Create simple forms (contact / newsletter / contribution / “share your story”) Provide a short handoff: basic documentation or a brief video so we can edit the site ourselves What we’re looking for Strong experience building and redesigning Wix sites (please send 3–5 LINKS to Wix sites you’ve personally built) Experience with content‑heavy or non‑profit / community/church / family sites (not only ecommerce) Good communication in English and willingness to meet on Zoom/WhatsApp Ability to suggest design improvements while respecting the family and historical feel When you reply, please include Links to 3–5 Wix/Wix Studio sites you built (ideally info or non‑profit style).
