About Galvanized Creative
We’re a small but fast-growing creative agency in Michigan looking for a Website Developer and optimization specialist to join our team and help us maintain and improve our client websites as we continue to grow.
Right now we manage about 25 client websites, with several larger clients that require regular optimization, updates, and performance improvements. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving websites, and contributing ideas to make systems and processes better as we scale.
This position will start at around 10 hours per week so we can ensure it's a great fit for both sides, with the goal of growing into a full-time role over the next few months as our client base expands.

What You'll Be Working On
You’ll help maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our client WordPress websites.
Typical work may include:
• Managing domains, DNS records, and hosting configurations
• Fixing broken links and technical issues
• Improving website speed and performance
• Optimizing images and site structure
• Adding or updating website pages when requested
• Writing and implementing schema markup
• Improving metadata and on-page SEO elements
• Identifying errors or improvement opportunities on sites
• Performing routine website health checks
• Helping suggest improvements to workflows and systems
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems.
Ideal candidates may have experience with:
• WordPress platform
• Domain management and DNS records
• Email Configuration
• Website hosting environments
• Site speed optimization
• Technical SEO
• Troubleshooting website errors
• Schema markup and metadata
You do not need to know everything — but you should be resourceful, eager to learn, and comfortable figuring things out.
Compensation & Growth
• Starting pay: $25/hour
• Bonuses throughout the year based on company growth
• 10% annual raise
• Opportunity to grow into a full-time position within a few months
