VP of Product

As Vice President of Product, you will: Lead Coinbase's core product strategy and execution, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept design to launch. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, security, compliance, and marketing teams to drive innovative product launches, continuously enhance user experience, security, and market leadership, and provide robust support for Coinbase's global growth objectives and brand mission. Key responsibilities include: Develop and execute Coinbase's company-wide product roadmap and strategy, ensuring the product portfolio aligns with corporate vision; lead the product management team in defining key product metrics. Drive a results-oriented product culture by defining critical product objectives and metrics with the product management team; Lead market research, user behavior analysis, and competitive trend insights to guide product optimization; spearhead development and execution of crypto asset trading platforms, wallets, money market funds, and other financial products. Drive innovation and iteration for core products including crypto trading platforms, wallets, NFTs, DeFi integrations, and developer tools; optimize the balance between user experience and compliance. Strike equilibrium between user experience and regulatory compliance to enhance platform trust and security; Collaborate with executive leadership in cross-functional decision-making, balancing resource allocation with strategic objectives; guide go-to-market strategies (Go-To-Market) Guide go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with marketing, growth, and sales teams; establish agile, iterative, and rapid product strategies aligned with strategic objectives. Foster an agile, iterative, and rapid-feedback product culture to drive efficient execution; attract, develop, and retain world-class product talent. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or related fields; minimum 10 years of product management experience in a tech company. Minimum 10 years of product management experience in a tech company, including at least 5 years leading a product management team; Experience with blockchain, cryptocurrency, fintech, or trading platform products preferred; exceptional user-centric mindset, strategic vision Exceptional user-centric mindset, strategic vision, and data-driven decision-making; familiarity with scaling from 0 to 1 and 1 to 100. Proven experience managing product growth phases from 0 to 1 and 1 to 100; ability to adapt in fast-paced environments. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic settings; Possesses cross-team collaboration and communication skills, capable of effectively influencing engineering, design, and business teams; adapts flexibly in fast-paced environments with strong problem-solving abilities. Proven experience successfully launching and scaling complex product portfolios within high-growth companies; strong interest in cryptoeconomics.
