With an accredited clinical residency program and one of only five nationally recognized behavioral health fellowships launching soon, we are transforming how evidence based care is delivered and scaled.About the RoleWe are hiring a Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead and optimize our multi state clinical care infrastructure. This senior leader will oversee the daily operations of therapy, psychiatry, and diagnostic services while ensuring high quality, compliant, and outcomes driven care across all service lines. You will be the strategic and operational lead for clinical capacity planning, cross functional execution, psychiatry program implementation, and onboarding infrastructure. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Operations LeadershipLead implementation and continuous improvement of clinical workflows, processes, and policies across all service lines and care settingsOversee operations for psychotherapy, psychiatry, and diagnostic services across all regionsPartner with the Chief Clinical Officer, Practice Management, and Head of Residency to align strategic priorities and clinical standardsMonitor clinical capacity, caseload balance, and productivity while ensuring equitable scheduling and acuity distributionFinancial Stewardship and Cost ManagementOversee clinical COGS through workforce modeling, compensation planning, and supervisory ratios aligned with budget targetsCollaborate with Finance and Revenue Cycle to manage the clinical P and L and forecast workforce costsTrack and report clinical KPIs tied to cost drivers including documentation lag, no show rates, and underutilizationProvide operational insight to support payer strategy and sustainable rate optimizationPsychiatry Program Implementation and OptimizationServe as the internal operational lead for psychiatry buildout in partnership with external consultantsTranslate strategic recommendations into executable workflows, SOPs, prescribing protocols, and collaboration modelsSupport multi state expansion by aligning licensing, credentialing, and collaboration agreements with regulatory requirementsOptimize workflows for psychiatric coverage, follow up adherence, and integration with therapy and evaluation servicesCollaborate with Product and Compliance to ensure EMR tools and templates are properly configured for psychiatric careMonitor performance metrics and support continuous training and improvement across the psychiatry teamClinical Training and OnboardingPartner with Education and People Operations to enhance and scale clinical onboarding for therapists, psychologists, and PMHNPsSupport the design of standardized onboarding pathways by licensure type, employment status, and clinical settingEnsure new clinicians are equipped with documentation tools, EMR access, MBC training, and clear role expectationsTrack onboarding metrics such as time to first session, time to full panel, and documentation complianceContribute to continuous improvement of training content through real time feedback loops and performance dataProgram and Workforce DevelopmentSupport the operational execution of the Residency and Fellowship programs in collaboration with Clinical and Education leadershipStandardize supervisory expectations, MBC implementation, and documentation quality review processesLead long term workforce planning including hiring targets, capacity modeling, and retention strategiesQualifications Master’s or doctoral degree in a behavioral health field such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PMHNPSeven or more years in multi state clinical operations or behavioral health leadershipExperience managing therapy and psychiatry operations in a tech enabled or telehealth environmentDeep understanding of compliance, documentation, and workforce optimizationOriginally posted on Himalayas
