Clinical Program Pharmacist- Hybrid (Raleigh, NC)
Prime Therapeutics is a unique Pharmacy Benefit Manager focused on connecting care for those they serve. The Clinical Program Pharmacist will contribute to the strategy and development of clinical products, providing research, analysis, and support to maintain competitive clinical programs.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of complex clinical product initiatives including clinical criteriaGather, analyze, and synthesize market information, clinical guidelines and member claims data to support clinical product management initiatives, products and strategiesSupport implementation of new products, product enhancements, and process improvements across all stakeholdersDevelop and maintain knowledge of key industry trendsResponsible for regulatory (URAC/NCQA, CMS, state law) oversight and external representation of the departmentValidate the accuracy of clinical product information and set up; may include user acceptance testing of applications and programsEstablish and maintain cross-functional partnerships; represent Clinical department as a subject matter expertOther duties as assignedSkillsDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy DegreeCurrent pharmacist license in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy1 year of relevant work experience in a retail, hospital, clinical and/or managed care settingMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorshipMicrosoft Excel and Word proficiencyExcellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and qualityAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously under pressure with strict timelinesAbility to develop process efficienciesAbility to work well in team environment1 year of work experience in clinical, managed care and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) settingExperience in cross-functional departmental collaborationBroad experience in or exposure to the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) businessCompany OverviewPrime Therapeutics is a trusted pharmacy solutions partner delivering savings, simplicity & support to our customers and members It was founded in 1990, and is headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota, USA, with a workforce of 5001-10000 employees.
