The Vice President, Marketing Solutions, is a key member of Risepoint's executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing enterprise-wide marketing innovation strategies. This leader will provide strategic oversight of growth channels, identify, incubate, and scale new growth opportunities, and own the P&L for Marketing Solutions Innovation. The VP partners with the COO, SLT, and cross-functional leaders to ensure disciplined business planning, rigorous market evaluation, operational readiness, and financial accountability for scaling innovation across the portfolio. The VP also represents Risepoint externally as a thought leader and ensures all initiatives comply with governance and risk management standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Enterprise Impact • Shape and drive enterprise-wide marketing innovation strategies in alignment with Risepoint's mission and growth objectives. • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic planning and decision-making. • Own the P&L for Marketing Solutions Innovation, ensuring investments deliver measurable ROI and align with company financial goals. • Oversee resource planning and allocation to maximize impact and efficiency. Strategic Oversight of Growth Channels • Provide direction and oversight for established Strategic Growth Channels, ensuring each has clear strategies, rigorous planning, and alignment to partner and portfolio objectives. • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to strengthen go-to-market execution and growth planning. Innovation & Growth Incubation • Scope, evaluate, and prioritize new marketing solutions growth opportunities, including market sizing, business case development, resourcing needs, and pilot design. • Incubate validated initiatives and transition successful pilots into scalable business models. • Establish repeatable frameworks for testing, learning, and scaling growth solutions across the portfolio. • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the SVP, Marketing Solutions, shaping the future roadmap of offerings and new areas to explore as a team. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration • Act as a senior connector across Marketing, Product, Student Success, and Partner Management to ensure initiatives are aligned, resourced, and executed effectively. • Represent Marketing Solutions in executive and partner forums, articulating value, impact, and opportunities for shared success. Governance, Risk Management & Compliance • Ensure all innovation initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with new business models and go-to-market strategies. Team & Capability Development • Provide thought partnership and coaching to a team of directors, elevating strategic thinking, planning, and execution discipline. • Build durable innovation capabilities across the organization, ensuring Risepoint can continuously identify, evaluate, and scale new opportunities. Performance & Measurement • Define success metrics and operating cadences for new initiatives. • Use data-driven insights to prioritize investments, assess performance, and refine growth strategies. Additional Responsibilities • Perform in accordance with Risepoint policies. • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree required; MBA or master's degree preferred. • 12+ years of professional experience, including: • 8+ years in strategy, marketing, or operations leadership, ideally with experience in higher education, edtech, or other high-growth industries. • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from idea through execution and scale. • Demonstrated success in business planning, modeling, and innovation management. • Experience managing and coaching senior leaders/directors. • Consulting background strongly preferred; experience as both strategist and operator required Skills & Attributes • Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and design actionable solutions. • Strong builder: Proven ability to turn ideas into business plans into scalable execution. • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills. • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and with external partners. • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities. • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with executive presence. • Servant leader: Combines strategic vision with a willingness to dive into details, from structuring analysis to building presentations, to enable and elevate the work of their team.
