Job Title: SVP, Key Account ManagementLocation: Remote, West Coast or East Coast basedReports to: EVP Head of Key AccountsThe Role:Evotec is seeking an experienced commercial leader to establish and drive the Key Account Management function within the assigned territory. The VP Key Account Management will transform how Evotec partners with its most strategic current and future customers, with a clear focus on long-term, growth-oriented, and sustainable collaborations.The role is responsible for managing a defined portfolio of high-value key accounts, unlocking new opportunities, broadening market presence, and accelerating revenue growth. Success requires strong commercial discipline, scientific credibility, and the ability to lead complex outcomes through cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, R&D, Operations, Legal, Finance, and enabling functions.What You'll Do:Build and execute a comprehensive KAM strategy aligned with corporate vision and growth objectivesOwn 12 to 18 month account plans for top high-value customers including goals, executive mapping, co-innovation roadmaps, risk mitigation plans, and success metricsDrive long-term value creation, retention, satisfaction, and share-of-wallet growthAssume full responsibility for identifying and closing new opportunities within assigned accounts and achieving agreed sales targetsCultivate and expand executive-level relationships within assigned accounts, including new customer developmentLead Joint Steering Committees and Quarterly Joint Business Reviews with customer executivesDefine operational plans and success metrics per accountTrack value realization, renewal opportunities, and expansion pathwaysShape account-level pipelines including upsell, cross-sell, new site entry, and therapeutic area expansionDevelop proactive entry strategies for prospective key customers in the territoryMonitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform account positioningCoordinate R&D, Operations, Legal, and Finance stakeholders from opportunity identification through deliveryEnsure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction in a matrix environmentMonitor performance against plan and drive corrective actions where requiredMaintain clear account governance and structured reporting artifactsWho You Are:Medical or scientific background preferred; alternatively business background with substantial CRO, CDMO, or biopharma experienceSeveral years of relevant industry experienceExtensive experience managing large and complex customer accountsProven track record in new customer development and expansion within strategic accountsDemonstrated experience orchestrating multi-stakeholder dealsStrong enterprise KAM discipline including structured account planning, executive mapping, and value case developmentDeep understanding of drug discovery and pre-clinical developmentStrong knowledge of precision medicine platforms and competitive market dynamicsCommercial and negotiation expertiseAbility to lead through influence across scientific, operational, legal, and finance stakeholdersStructured, data-driven approach to forecasting and performance managementWhy Join Us:Evotec offers a differentiated precision medicine and multimodal discovery platform designed for sustained value creation.
