About the position The Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Applications at Visa will lead the strategic vision for Human Resources Technology and Corporate Technologies. This role involves driving innovation and operational excellence within the IT department, focusing on customer experience and the development of software solutions that meet business needs. The VP will oversee a global team, manage technology strategies, and ensure the successful delivery of Visa's strategic priorities. Responsibilities • Developing and executing technology strategies and roadmaps to meet business objectives. • Leading a growth organization by hiring, training, and maintaining high-performing teams. • Partnering with HR on the technical strategy for next-generation cloud solutions. • Researching HR best practices and applying them across the HR business and technology landscape. • Overseeing preparations of business cases and needs analysis for HR applications. • Developing an integration strategy for cohesive user interfaces and information sources. • Coordinating with functional and technical staff on system-related projects and initiatives. • Providing leadership and oversight to large transformational programs across functional teams and vendors. • Mentoring and managing a team of business analysts, process analysts, software engineers, and support resources globally. • Keeping executive management informed of progress and obstacles through status reports and presentations. • Managing workforce plans, budget development, tracking, and forecasting. Requirements • 12+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 10+ years with an advanced degree or 8+ years with a PhD. • Extensive corporate and packaged application knowledge in organizations with over 5000 employees. • Experience planning, designing, and implementing efficient business and system solutions for HR functions. • Experience deploying ERP level applications in global corporations. • Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal direction and adjust to changing requirements. • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading global teams. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technology strategy to diverse audiences. • Ability to drive consensus across global technology and business partners. • Sound judgment, high ethical standards, and effective collaboration with all levels.
