The Role Zicasso is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Visual Content Editor with strong photo editing and graphic design skills to join our growing creative team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling and understands how photography shapes narrative and brand perception. The position will focus primarily on photo editing and visual curation for articles, itineraries, and marketing content, while also contributing graphic design support for materials such as print advertisements, postcards, newsletters, and social assets. The ideal candidate has a refined editorial eye and enjoys the process of researching, curating, and sequencing imagery that brings travel stories to life. A portfolio demonstrating both photo editing and graphic design work is required. This is an international, fully-remote, contractor position , working from home, at a location outside of the United States. There is flexibility in your work hours but we expect that you will generally maximize your overlap with Denver, Colorado hours, Mountain Time (GMT -7). The work will all be conducted in English. Key Responsibilities Photo Editing: Source, retouch, and enhance photos to reflect the brand’s luxury aesthetic. Create visual narratives by sequencing and curating images for campaigns, social media, websites, and print. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure images align with storytelling objectives. Graphic Design Support: Design supporting visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, newsletters, and web content. Create layouts for print materials such as postcards, advertisements, brochures, and editorial-style publications. Develop simple graphic elements, typographic treatments, and layouts that complement photographic storytelling. Prepare production-ready files for print, ensuring proper formatting, color profiles, and technical specifications. Creative Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams to develop visual concepts for campaigns and editorial projects. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for visual storytelling and brand expression. Assist in creating mood boards, visual guidelines, and creative briefs to guide content production. Quality Assurance & Asset Management Ensure all visual assets meet brand guidelines, technical specifications, and quality standards. Maintain organized working files and contribute to efficient digital asset management workflows. Stay up-to-date with trends in photography, editorial design, and visual storytelling. Required Skills and Qualities 2–4 years of experience in photo editing, visual curation, or digital content production. Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Illustration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. Demonstrated ability to curate imagery that supports visual storytelling and editorial narratives. Basic understanding of print production, typography, layout systems, and color management. Portfolio demonstrating both photo editing and graphic design work. Strong understanding of composition, color, visual hierarchy, and brand aesthetics. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and collaboration. Interest in travel and an understanding of the luxury travel market is highly desirable.
