A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting high school students in a K-12 environment located in West Hartford, CT. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek focused on providing therapeutic services to a diverse caseload.

Key responsibilities include delivering individualized speech and language therapy to approximately 35 high school students. Among these students, 19 have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) along with individual and multiple disabilities, requiring specialized therapeutic approaches. Collaboration with a paraeducator is integral to effectively supporting students' communication goals.

Essential qualifications and experience:
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience providing teletherapy as well as in-person therapy services within school settings
• Proficiency in managing caseloads that include students with ASD and multiple disabilities
• Ability to tailor therapy plans to meet individual student needs in a structured school environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educational staff and support personnel

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
• Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school and district standards
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with paraeducators to enhance student outcomes
