Virtual Math Tutor (Grades K-6) - must be math endorsed in US

About Tutive Tutive is a growing online tutoring company that provides high-quality, personalized literacy and math instruction to students in grades K-6. Our goal is to close learning gaps and boost student confidence through structured, data-driven, and engaging online sessions. We’re currently hiring a certified, active elementary math educator to serve students in grades K-6 through short, focused online sessions. What You’ll Do • Lead 1:1 virtual tutoring sessions in math for grades K-6 (30 minutes per session) • Use your expertise and provided materials to guide instruction • Tailor lessons to meet each student’s needs and pacing • Communicate with families professionally and promptly • Submit brief lesson notes after each session • Maintain a consistent, reliable tutoring schedule Requirements • Must be an active teacher in a current school setting • Certified to teach elementary education and/or math • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience (preferably with departmentalized math) • Strong understanding of Common Core math standards • Tech-savvy and confident using digital tools for instruction (Zoom, Google Slides, etc.) • Reliable internet and a quiet, professional setup for virtual teaching • Strong communication, time management, and organization skills • Must be authorized to work as a 1099 independent contractor in the U.S. Bonus Points • Experience working with struggling learners or students with IEPs • Experience supporting homeschool families • Familiarity with math programs like Eureka Math, i-Ready, or EnVision Pay & Structure • $20 per hour • 30-minute online sessions • Independent contractor (1099) role • Flexible schedule based on client needs and tutor availability If you’re a passionate, certified math educator currently teaching in an elementary setting, and want to make a meaningful impact through online tutoring, we’d love to hear from you.
