Virtual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in RI
An opportunity is available for a skilled Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing specializing in telehealth services to support educational programs remotely. Responsibilities include:
ā¢ Conducting virtual evaluations and therapies tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

ā¢ Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional approaches as needed
ā¢ Providing professional guidance on assistive technology and communication methods

Qualifications for this role:
ā¢ Certification or licensure in teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing
ā¢ Experience delivering telehealth or remote instructional services in an educational setting
ā¢ Strong communication skills and proficiency with virtual platforms and assistive technologies
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively
ā¢ Knowledge of current educational practices and legislation related to deaf/hard of hearing students
