We’re seeking a detail-oriented legal professional to support a remote law firm’s billing operations and client communication through Clio Manage. With a team of approximately 15 attorneys, this role sits at the intersection of legal billing and client-facing support—you’ll play a key role in ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and handled professionally.

This is a part-time remote position, ideal for someone currently working in a legal support role who is looking to supplement their hours, or for a legal professional transitioning into remote work while leveraging their law firm billing experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Manage the firm’s legal billing operations in Clio Manage, including attorney time entry review, invoice generation, payment processing, trust/retainer application, and account reconciliation.
• Coordinate with attorneys to ensure time entries are complete, accurate, and submitted on schedule for timely billing.
• Review billing entries for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before invoices are sent to clients.
• Generate, distribute, and track client invoices while maintaining organized billing records within Clio.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and professionally handle client questions regarding billing, payments, and account balances.
• Maintain accurate documentation of billing activity, payment history, and client communications.
• Assist with occasional administrative or operational support tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
• Required: Hands-on experience using Clio Manage for legal billing, including attorney time entry management, invoice generation, invoice distribution, payment processing, and trust/retainer handling.
• Prior experience working in a law firm or legal services environment (any practice area considered).
• Strong understanding of legal billing workflows, billing accuracy review, and reconciliation processes.
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients regarding invoices, outstanding balances, and payment-related questions in a professional manner.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable computer (Windows or Mac) and stable high-speed internet connection.
