About the role We need an editor who can cut punchy short‑form verticals and clean long‑form videos from talking head footage with supportive B‑roll, captions, and consistent style. You’ll handle 5–10 client brands with clear briefs and steady assets. What you’ll do • Short form: Edit 9:16 talking head + B‑roll reels with hooks, captions, and pacing • Long form: Edit podcasts, interviews, webinars, testimonials, and 3–10 min YouTube videos • Color and audio polish to a consistent baseline • Manage versions and feedback in Frame.io • Hit deadlines reliably across multiple client queues Requirements • US based • Proven portfolio in both short and long form (talking head + B‑roll) • DaVinci Resolve expertise required • Frame.io workflow experience required • Strong story sense, clean captions/graphics, fast turnaround • Able to manage 5–10 clients concurrently Nice to have • Light motion graphics for lower thirds/callouts • Experience clipping long form into short sets Tools • DaVinci Resolve (required) • Frame.io (required) Compensation • Per‑deliverable or monthly retainer based on scope • Include your rate per short, rate per long‑form (per finished minute or per project), and weekly capacity How to apply • Subject: “Video Editor – Short + Long – Your Name” • Include: 5 best shorts, 2 long‑form samples, your rates, weekly capacity, city/state, and your typical turnaround Hiring process • Portfolio review • Short paid test using our materials • Trial week with 1–2 clients, then ongoing work Job Types: Freelance, Contract Pay: $24.61 - $29.64 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
