About the Role

The Company is seeking a TRICARE Program Leader (TPL) to join its executive team. The TPL will be the senior executive responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of all TRICARE-related programs, with a focus on meeting the needs of the Defense Health Agency. This role requires a leader with a strong background in management and leadership, particularly in a large, health- and military-focused business or healthcare facility environment. The TPL will be the primary point of contact for the TRICARE program, managing a collection of projects to ensure the achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. They will also be involved in business development, and customer relations, and will lead cross-functional teams to meet program requirements.

Candidates for the TPL position must have a Bachelor's degree, at least 15 years of management and leadership experience, and a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role as a Defense Contractor in a healthcare contracting function. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in health plan compliance and defense contracting are essential. The role demands a proven ability to direct work in a matrixed environment and to influence business leaders to support the TRICARE strategy. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, 5 years of experience in a leadership role under the TRICARE program, and relationships with key influencers in the military health space. The TPL will be expected to have US citizenship and the ability to obtain Government Security Clearance.
