Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: • Under general supervision, assists the veterinarians and researchers in surgery and radiology, animal care, treatments, and diagnostic and preventative procedures. • Maintains medical records and inventory. • Provides non-surgical technical assistance to researchers as directed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • A high school diploma or equivalent • Three years of experience as a veterinary technician • OR a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience as an animal care technician • OR graduation from a two year veterinary technician program and one year of veterinary technician experience. • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
