Job Description:
At Job Duck, we are seeking a Legal Assistant specializing in intake and client communications to support a law firm in elder law, estate planning, probate, trusts, and fiduciary representation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, ensuring they feel heard, informed, and cared for throughout their legal journey. You will manage intake processes, provide case updates, and handle key administrative tasks that allow attorneys and paralegals to focus on billable work. A clear communicator with an enthusiastic and approachable personality will thrive in this position, especially when engaging with elderly clients who value patience and clarity.

• Monthly Compensation: 1150 USD - 1220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Draft and send closing letters and Manage status-related communications
• Provide updates on their cases
• Assist with intake of new clients and ensure smooth onboarding and documentation
• Send birthday cards to clients
• Touch base with clients regularly
• Handle routine office and administrative tasks
• Maintain organized records and files
Requirements:
• Office hours: Monday- Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM MST.
• 2-3 years of experience working as a legal assistant
• Someone comfortable taking calls
• Experience with Estate planning and or Probate Law is preferred
• Software: Clio (mandatory), VoIP, MS Office Suite, and DesignVault
Work Shift:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM [MST][MDT] (United States of America)
