Position Summary: This course introduces students to the formative stages of the UX research process including concepts and techniques used to understand users and their needs/behaviours/tasks/goals, before designing solutions/interventions. Students also learn methods for communicating results including data-driven personas, journey maps and storyboards. Students are required to completed the TCPS course on research ethics.





Qualifications – Required Academic Degree: Master’s Degree

Qualifications – Other

PhD with emphasis in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Interaction Design or equivalent is preferred

Teaching experience at the college or university level or experience providing training in UX qualitative research or equivalent is required

Applied qualitative research practice involving human subjects or equivalent is required

Commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in the classroom is preferred

Currency with industry best practices and tools relevant to the course is preferred





Salary: $9913.75
