Utilization Management Clinical Consultant

Description:
• Full-time remote Utilization Management Clinical Consultant opportunity for candidates residing in Florida
• Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm EST with flexibility for business needs
• Utilize clinical skills to coordinate, document and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program
• Apply critical thinking and clinical knowledge for Behavioral Health and/or medical conditions
• Collaborate to assess appropriateness of treatment plans across levels of care
• Coordinate, monitor and evaluate options for appropriate healthcare services/benefits
• Provide triage and crisis support
• Gather clinical information to render coverage determination/recommendation

Requirements:
• Must reside in Florida
• Licensed Independent Behavioral Health clinician or unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida with psychiatric specialty
• 3+ years clinical practice experience in behavioral health (e.g., psychiatric hospital, residential or behavioral health treatment)
• 1+ years' experience using MS office applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word)
• 1+ year electronic medical record documentation experience
