Description/Notes:
This position requires reporting to work on the UT Austin main campus; however, currently the UT High School District has a hybrid remote schedule. This position requires remote internet access. Purpose:

Serve as a lead learning specialist for the UT High School math program by designing and facilitating online courses and exams and coordinating support to ensure student success. Responsibilities:
Instructional Design & Course Development
Design and develop engaging online courses, assessments, and instructional materials aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Apply best practices in online learning to create content that supports diverse student needs using tools such as Canvas and other educational technologies.
I
nstructional Support & Program Coordination
Provide instructional guidance and support to teachers and adjunct instructors by developing resources, systems, andmunication processes that promote effective instruction, timely feedback, and accurate grading. Support the coordination and continuous improvement of instructional programs. Assessment & Credit by Exam Administration
Design, re, and maintain credit by exams and final assessments, ensuring alignment with TEKS andpliance with state requirements. Support audit processes, respond to stakeholder inquiries, and coordinate exam delivery using online proctoring systems. Student Support, Collaboration & Outreach
Monitor student progress and oues to inform support strategies, including tutoring and intervention resources. Proctor STAAR and AP exams. Collaborate across teams and with external partners to improve programs, support student success, and contribute to training,munication, and outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in education, mathematics, or a closely related field and five years of secondary teaching experience, or bachelor's degree and seven years of secondary teaching experience. Texas Teacher Certification in Mathematics 7-12 and at least three years of experience teaching secondary mathematics courses in Texas public schools. Experience designing instruction and assessments for high school mathematics courses. Comprehensive understanding of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), STAAR expectations, and best practices in mathematics instruction and assessment. Experience implementing support for a variety of student group needs, including English Language Learners, Gifted/Talented, and special education. Successful experience supporting students to achieve targeted objectives and tracking and reporting student data. Experience with online instruction. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task with high level of proficiency. Professional demeanor. Exceptional organizational andmunication skills. Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in education, mathematics, or a closely related field. More than five years of teaching experience. More than three years of experience teaching secondary mathematics courses in Texas public schools. Experience teaching multiple high school mathematics courses, including Pre-AP/AP, Dual Credit, or IB. Three or more years' experience in a leadership role in an educational setting. Experience developing and delivering professional development to educators. In-depth understanding of the TEKS, Texas Education Code, FERPA, and graduation requirements. Extensive knowledge of best practices in assessment proctoring and scoring. Experience working with k-12 mathematics curriculum, instruction, or assessment in a learning management system. Educator certification in multiple subject areas. Experience developing or facilitating online instruction. Experience leading trainings for teachers for curriculum, social emotional, G/T, Advanced Placement, or English learner strategies. Experience with blended learning instruction. Experience presenting or marketing at conferences. Satisfactory oues of fingerprinting and criminal background check required.
Salary Range:
$60,000 + depending on qualifications
