Sr. QA Automation (Javascript)
We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to help transition from mock-based testing to live environment testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automating UI and end-to-end tests, a solid understanding of both SSR and CSR environments, and a passion for building reliable and maintainable test infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• Replace mock-based tests with automated tests running on live environments.
• Automate manual testing processes across different environments.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end and UI tests using Playwright.
• Ensure test reliability and consistency across SSR and CSR applications.
• Debug test failures and address flaky tests with a focus on stability and speed.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure shift-left testing practices and early test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Write clear, maintainable, and reusable test cases.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in test automation or software quality engineering.
• Proficiency with Playwright for UI and end-to-end testing.
• Strong skills in TypeScript and test frameworks like Jest or Vitest.
• Familiarity with API mocking/interception in tests.
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into build processes.
• Solid understanding of debugging techniques and handling flaky or inconsistent tests.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
