User Interface Designer – eCommerce
Join an exciting opportunity to shape the digital presence of a new skincare brand inspired by Ayurveda. The project involves designing a premium, mobile-first eCommerce website that captures the essence of modern minimalism while emphasizing conversion and emotional engagement. The website will serve as the primary platform for launching two flagship products, requiring a strong focus on visual storytelling, ingredient highlights, and a seamless user journey.
The ideal candidate will translate brand values into a compelling digital experience, ensuring every section of the site educates, builds trust, and drives sales from first-time visitors.
Deliverables
• Design a mobile-first eCommerce website with a modern, minimal aesthetic
• Develop a visual storytelling approach that highlights product ingredients, textures, and benefits
• Create a clean, fast-loading site optimized for conversion and emotional appeal
• Ensure all sections of the site are purposeful: educating, building trust, or selling
• Prepare a Shopify-friendly handoff with clear documentation and assets
• Utilize earthy tones and strong typography consistent with the brand’s identity
• Prioritize mobile usability and responsive design across all devices
Requirements
• Proven experience designing eCommerce websites, preferably for beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands
• Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile-first and conversion-focused design
• Expertise in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Familiarity with Shopify platform requirements and handoff best practices
• Ability to create visually engaging layouts using earthy color palettes and impactful typography
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for storytelling in digital commerce
• Availability for project-based work with potential for future collaboration
