As a Sourcing Specialist, you will:
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle
• Review and validate requisitions before PO creation
• Confirm supplier setup and availability in Oracle
• Support production meetings by preparing PO and part status reports
• Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) and handle releases, expediting, and payment follow-up
• Communicate with suppliers via email and calls to request quotes, expedite materials, and clarify requirements
• Maintain documentation for auditability and PO attachments
Requirements
• Hands-on experience with Oracle OSCAR and/or Oracle PASCAL
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in sourcing
• English language proficiency
Preferences
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Background in service, repair, or maintenance environments
• Experience with aero-derivative products or turbo machinery repair/services
• Familiarity with SAP or similar modern ERP systems
