US Picker/Packer
About the position
The Picker/Packer position is a part-time role responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders in a warehouse environment. The role involves using a voice-directed picking system to select products, verifying orders, and ensuring that items are packed securely for shipment. The Picker/Packer must maintain high accuracy and adhere to company standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
Receive coversheet and assigned cart for each series of orders and log onto the voice system to begin the picking process.

Move the cart through product bin aisles and pick corresponding products from product bins, placing the correct product and quantity into the cart.
,
Verify products during the picking and packing processes.
,
Maintain daily individual production records as required by the supervisor.
,
Return completed carts to the staging area and begin packing customer orders by verifying selected products against packing lists.
,
Select appropriately sized boxes or envelopes for shipment to ensure safe delivery of items.
,
Pack all orders neatly and correctly, following proper packing procedures for fragile items.
,
Report any errors in product selection or quality to the appropriate team member and correct orders as necessary before shipment.
,
Dispose of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain a clean working environment.
,
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.
,
Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
,
Good communication (written/verbal) skills.
,
Detail-oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines.
,
Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
,
Ability to work under stress and handle multiple assignments.
,
Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics.
Nice-to-haves
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.
