Position Description

The University of Mississippi's Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2024.

The Department has a need for a monetary economist. The candidate will teach macroeconomics courses at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as contribute to our undergraduate financial economics emphasis.

A Ph.D. completed by August 2024, is expected.

Applicants must provide a CV, one working paper, and a graduate transcript. Three (3) letters of recommendation should be submitted on JOE. The letter of application should describe current and projected research and teaching interests.
