Urgent Network Architect Needed – SonicWall + UniFi Dual Business Setup
Two companies are merging into the same office tomorrow. They must remain fully network-isolated but will temporarily share a single internet line.
Company A is already operating in the office with the existing infrastructure.
Company B is moving in with their own UniFi equipment and needs a separate network.
Company A:
• SonicWall firewall
• Ruckus R300 access points
• Allworx on-site phone system with SIP trunks
• Existing site-to-site VPN
Company B:
• UniFi UDM Pro
• UniFi access points
• Laptops only
We need an experienced network engineer to quickly advise and configure the correct topology:
• Should SonicWall remain the edge and UniFi sit behind it?
• Should UniFi be the edge and SonicWall sit behind it?
• Is there a cleaner temporary design?
• Must avoid breaking VoIP and existing VPN
• Must ensure full network isolation
