Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time UPS Express Delivery Driver to join our delivery team at United Parcel Service (UPS) – one of the leading multinational package delivery and supply chain management companies. As a UPS Express Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and prompt delivery of packages to our customers. Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all company policies and traffic laws
– Prepare daily delivery route and carry out regular vehicle inspections
– Load and unload packages to be delivered in a timely and accurate manner
– Interact with customers professionally and courteously
– Record and report delivery information, discrepancies, or problems to supervisors
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 pounds
– Must pass a DOT physical
– Strong customer service skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
– Previous experience in package delivery is preferred but not required as paid training will be provided.
