The RoleYou will be part of the product development process from the get-go. You will transform complex mining workflows into intuitive digital experiences. You will be critical to the product discovery and design process for our mobile app and web platform, translating user workflow pain points into elegant design solutions.You will join a tight-knit product team that values good design and prides themselves in shipping the modern, intuitive software that our users know and love. Key ResponsibilitiesBecome a product expert: gain a thorough understanding of the industry we play in, our end users, and why they choose to use (and love) our softwareUser research and discovery: map out user workflows and pain-points based on our different customer job roles and frame them as design problems to be solvedBuild world-class, user-centric product design solutions all the way from conceptualisation, to user acceptance, to high-fidelity prototypesMaintain design standards and principles, ensuring they are consistent and follow modern web and mobile application best-practicesGuarantee product quality and success: gather user feedback and iterate on designs through data-driven feedback processesCommunicate and collaborate with internal teams for continuous feedback and stakeholder alignment Qualifications and FitTo excel in the role, we are looking for someone who:Has a minimum of 3 years end-to-end experience in the delivery of design projects, from conceptualisation to productionIs a master at FigmaBelieves in user-centric design and values simplicity in solving design problemsAble to communicate concepts and articulate reasoning behind design decisionsHas a passion for streamlining both software and workflow processesStrives for both professional and personal self-improvement: you’re inherently curious and you’re always learningBonus points for experience in industrial software, field operations, or mining/construction industriesPerks & BenefitsPrime CBD locationHybrid role with 1 day WFHFun office culture – open plan space, birthday celebrations, team events (hello, movie nights + office jukebox!)Parental leave top-up pay (covering the difference between the government’s minimum parental leave payment and your regular base salary)Access to EAP mental health & wellbeing services for you and immediate family members Ready for your next adventure?If you're ready to bring your A-game to a tech-forward startup, click APPLY NOW to submit your CV and cover letter.
