What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coach and mentor staff on law, policy, and procedures for issue resolution
- Provide technical support on claims and adjudication issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and implement new approaches
- Review adjudication decisions to ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct call monitoring and quality reviews for staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Eight years of professional unemployment insurance claims processing and adjudication experience
- One year of experience as a Benefits Specialist 1 or 2
- Education equivalences: Associate Degree = 2 years, Bachelor Degree = 4 years, Masters or Higher = 5 years
- Applicable degrees in Social Science, Public or Business Administration, or related field
- Must pass an Unemployment Insurance (UI) Claim & Benefit Information Review
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative in a healthcare-related service
- Knowledge of web-based programs and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, empathy, and technology skills
