San Diego Gymnastics is looking for energetic and fun individuals that are career-minded to join our team If you are enthusiastic about being a part of the movement to improve the health and lives of kids, this is the job for you We are looking for a committed and reliable instructor to lead our After School Program, "Beyond".
This program is a truly unique program We pick our enrolled customers children up from school in our company van and bring them back to the gym for after school care. They spend time in the gym learning gymnastics and parkour, but also have time to do homework, read, do crafts and science experiments, and more Our programs teach kids how to safely move through obstacles, progress through gymnastics or parkour skills, gain balance, flexibility, agility, and strength. We provide a clean, safe and fun environment for our kids to not only develop their athletic skills but to create friendships and life skills that will last a lifetime. We also strive to provide one of the best, upbeat, fun, inclusive, and rewarding work environments possible.
This position would be Monday through Friday, 1:30-6pm.
Qualified candidates will have the following requirements:
- safety-oriented mentality
- clean driving record
- comfortability driving a 14 seater van
- CPR/First Aid certification, national background screen will be completed upon hire
- experience working with children ages 5 yr+
- self-sufficient, creative, and a problem solver
- exceptional communication with supervisors, parents, and co-workers
- fun, kind, and compassionate with children
- energetic
- experience teaching fitness/sports: specifically gymnastics, dance is a plus
In addition to this location, we have 4 other San Diego locations: Carlsbad (La Costa), San Diego (Point Loma), Grossmont Center (La Mesa), and Otay Ranch (Chula Vista)
$18-$30 an hour based on experience. Potential for signing bonus
