Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Typist Clerk to join our team in a Home Office setting. As a Typist Clerk, you will be responsible for typing, formatting, and proofreading a variety of documents, including reports, memos, and presentations. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing and data entry skills, as well as strong organizational and time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Type, format, and proofread a variety of documents, such as reports, memos, and presentations

- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files

- Enter data into databases and ensure accuracy and completeness

- Communicate with team members to gather necessary information for documents and projects

- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the team

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Typist Clerk or in a similar role

- Proficient typing and data entry skills, with a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute

- Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
