Trust Accountant
The candidate should be an energetic and enthusiastic individual. The Trust Accountant position allows an individual to join our team and learn the fundamentals of our business model. This position is currently remote and can remain remote for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
ā¢ Reconciliation of retirement plan investment accounts/trust accounting
ā¢ Preparation of Financial Statements
ā¢ Interim Review and updating of records
ā¢ Accounting for Participant Loans
ā¢ Contacting clients and financial institutions for necessary information
Competency Requirements:
ā¢ Strong technical and PC skills (must be proficient in Excel)
ā¢ Attention to detail
ā¢ Ability to learn new software needed to carry out responsibilities of the position
ā¢ Ability to meet deadlines
ā¢ Able to adapt to changing priorities
ā¢ Able to work as part of a team
ā¢ Strong verbal and written communication skills
ā¢ Initiative
ā¢ Commitment to continuous improvement
ā¢ Motivation to learn and grow within an organization

We currently have an actuarial department, ERISA attorneys, paralegals, administrators, trust accountants, and a separate distribution department to interact with participants. Compensation will be determined based on experience, please include preferred salary range when applying. A candidate with minimal experience can expect an offer of $45,000 to $48,000. A candidate with up to two years experience can expect an offer of $50,000 to $54,000.
