[Remote] Operations RPA Engineer

The Operations RPA Engineer will be responsible for automating and improving processes within the operations team, leveraging low code tools and AI-driven workflows.ResponsibilitiesBuild, test, deploy, and maintain automation workflows using tools such as Zapier, Retool, Make, Power Automate, n8n, or similar platformsIntegrate operational systems through APIs, databases, and third-party platformsCreate dashboards, reporting tools, and operational infrastructure to improve visibility and decision-makingLeverage AI and agentic workflows to automate internal processes and improve operational efficiencyCreate and maintain technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and implementation guidesCommunicate with advisors and custodian partners to learn about stakeholder requirements and debug process issuesManage new client account setup, documentation, and serve as a primary point of contact for operational inquiriesIdentify manual and repetitive workflows and design automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalabilitySkills3+ years of experienceDemonstrated problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issuesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience building automations using tools such as Zapier, Retool, Make, Power Automate, n8n, UiPath, or similar platformsExperience working with APIs, SQL databases, and structured or unstructured dataUnderstanding of AI-powered workflows and agentic automation conceptsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentUS citizen/visa onlyExperience working with RIA custodians such as Charles Schwab, Pershing, Fidelity, or similar institutionsExperience supporting advisor, brokerage, wealth management, fintech, or RIA operationsStrong understanding of account opening, transfers, and operational workflowsExperience designing internal tools, dashboards, or reporting systemsBasic scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or similar languagesExperience working in a startup or high-growth environmentExperience evaluating, implementing, or managing AI tools in business operationsBenefitsWork from home with flexible hours as a part of our remote-first teamFull suite of benefits across 401K plans, Healthcare Insurance, Dental, VisionCompany OverviewSyntheticFi provides the cheapest and easiest securities-backed lending solutions to advisors and individuals.
