Travel Telemetry RN contract job - Elmira, NY

Sunbelt Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Elmira, NY. This 13-week contract allows you to utilize your expertise in patient monitoring and contribute to their care plans while exploring the Finger Lakes region during your downtime.

Elmira offers a historic downtown and easy access to the Finger Lakes' breathtaking scenery. Explore the region with hiking, biking, or wine tasting at local wineries. Delve into history at the Mark Twain Study at Elmira College or visit charming towns along the lakes.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, related experience in a telemetry or critical care setting
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Prior travel experience as a Registered Nurse to substitute
• Strong knowledge and experience in Telemetry
• Experience using Epic electronic medical records within the past year

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses to interventions
• Monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and overall well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care practices
• Document all patient care activities accurately and maintain detailed medical records
