Tax Manager Position Overview The Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax compliance and planning functions for the organization. This role is essential for ensuring all tax obligations are met accurately and on time, while also providing strategic guidance to optimize tax efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for the organization. • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. • Conduct research on various tax matters and maintain knowledge of current tax legislation and regulations. • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as necessary. • Provide guidance and support to internal departments on tax-related issues. • Prepare and present tax-related reports and analyses to senior management. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA certification is required. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management or a similar role. • Strong knowledge of tax compliance, planning, and regulations. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
