Healthcare Audit Manager
Position Overview
The Healthcare Audit Manager will lead and manage audit activities within the healthcare sector, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing operational efficiency. The role involves working closely with healthcare organizations to identify risks, develop audit plans, and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead and manage audit projects from planning through execution and reporting
ā¢ Conduct risk assessments to identify key areas of concern within healthcare organizations
ā¢ Review financial statements and operational data to ensure accuracy and compliance
ā¢ Develop and implement audit strategies and methodologies specific to the healthcare industry
ā¢ Provide training and guidance to audit staff and other team members
ā¢ Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
ā¢ Stay updated on healthcare regulations and industry trends to enhance audit practices
Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
ā¢ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
ā¢ Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit management, preferably in the healthcare sector
ā¢ Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
ā¢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Effective communication and interpersonal skills
ā¢ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
