Test Manager
Location: Irving, TX (Remote)
Required Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
10+ years of experience in Software Testing
Experience in test execution through automation
Roles/Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define testing scope.
Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, including test types, priorities, and timelines.
Create detailed test cases and scenarios based on user stories and functional specifications.
Test Execution and Management:
Assign test cases to team members and monitor test execution progress.
Review test results and identify defects, logging them in a defect tracking system with clear descriptions and steps to reproduce.
Manage test environments and data required for testing.
Conduct test reviews and ensure quality standards are met.
Defect Management and Reporting:
Prioritize and track defects to ensure timely resolution.
Communicate defect status to development teams. and stakeholders.
Generate comprehensive test reports summarizing test results, metrics, and identified issues
Work Authorization:
Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 03/03/2025
The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 - $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizants discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizants applicable plans.
